On thursday, July 7, we will host a lecture on the Syrian civil war in lecture hall 8 ( Hörsaal 8 ) in the main building of Bonn university.
The lecture will be in English.
The Syrian crisis arrived in Germany via hundreds of thousands of refugees. Along with them comes an opportunity for a dialogue with the German society – a dialogue that might lead to a better understanding of the evolution of the Syrian situation and foster a real solidarity with people as they fight for a universal cause: liberty and dignity.
Mohammad Abu Hajar is a Syrian activist, economist and musician currently based in Berlin. As a former member of the Local Coordination Committees in Syria and the German NGO Adopt a Revolution he will shed some light on the conflict.
